AICC’s Vision and Achievements
Alqalam Islamic
Community Center (AICC) primary focus is to advance the teachings of the
Islamic faith and the Arabic language through the provision of religious
services and education to the community. In addition, Alqalam strives to foster
a positive understanding of Islam and invites to the way of Allah with wisdom
and beautiful preaching. In order to continue serving properly our Muslim
Community and to fulfill our charitable mandate, we have set as a goal to
acquire the current premises or an adequate accommodation by Allah willing.
Alqalam is a unique Islamic Center located in a central area where there is no other Islamic charity close by. It has been renting the current premises for almost 5 years. The Center keeps up in renovating and maintaining the premises; the place is equipped with AC, heating, class chairs, tables, boards, other equipment and tools to facilitate students’ interactive learning, security cameras, kitchen, washrooms, wudou area, emergency exits and a new installed carpet. In addition, all the members of the executive bureau volunteer to manage the center and keep it safe and sound, therefore no salaries have been ever paid since the launch of the Center. We ask Allah Soubhaneh to make all our actions only for his sake, to give all of us knowledge and wisdom insha’Allah and to guide all of us to the right path. Amin Since January 1st 2009, Alhamdulillah the Center has earned the right to acquire from the Canadian Government the status of a charitable organization.
