Alqalam Islamic Center is offering Alhamdulillah the following services that meet the major needs of our Muslim Community in a most needy location:
DAILY ARABIC, QURAN AND HADITH CLASSES FOR YOUTH & ADULTS: The classes are offered by our Sheikh Abu Abdallah who is graduated from Madina and has an asset of two decades of Islamic principles knowledge from Saudia Arabia. Although the Center’s space is limited the Sheikh has setup various schedules throughout the whole week to accommodate up to 55 students. Yearly graduation & awards are organized with the presence of the parents. Please contact us for registration DAILY, JUMUA AND EID PRAYERS: The center disposes of two prayer rooms for Brothers and one for Sisters. RELIGIOUS CONFERENCES: In various occasions Alqalam Center has invited well known Scholars to share their wisdom with our community. RAMADAN PROGRAMS: The center offers various Islamic halaqats provided by local and international scholars, performs Taraweeh prayers and offer Iftar two to three times a week. YOUTH COMPETIONS: Alqalam center started organizing from last April 2011 youth competitions, our former competition was about Quran Challenge Game and Questionnaire about Aqidah, Fikh and Manners. The center made the competition open to public and invited many competitors from other part of the city. Competitors got about two months of preparation, our goal was to create interactivity between parents and children and enhance the learning process. Valuable rewards and awards were provided to all participants based on orders of merits. SITES’S ACCOMMODATIONS: The center provides to the community a designated area to celebrate Aqiqah, Sadaka and other events. FUNERAL SERVICES: This program is outsourced for the time being because of the luck of funding; we are looking forward to accommodate our community once insha’Allah funding allows. |
